Masking at Aurora

Parents/Guardians - please send at least four (4) clean masks to school with your child.

With a rise in COVID-19 cases in our community, we want to remind parents how you can support your child’s safety at school.  As stated in our re-entry plan back in August, students should be changing their masks throughout the day, and Aurora students were quite good at this through September.  However, recently we note that many students only bring one mask to school.

Some specific times where AHS recommended us changing our masks are after PE class, after playing at recess, and whenever it becomes otherwise wet or soiled.  We ask that parents send four (4) clean masks daily, and continue to teach your child appropriate ways to wear, remove, and care for their masks.
