Improving the mental health and wellness of students and staff is a priority of Northern Lights Public Schools.  The World Health Organization describes mental health as a state of well-being in which an individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.  To that end, this survey hopes to provide a better picture of the overall mental health of our jurisdiction and build an understanding of the needs of the individual schools and geographical areas we serve.  This is an entirely anonymous survey, and responding openly and honestly to these survey questions can help us find ways to better support you.  With this information, the schools and the jurisdiction can better strategize and organize universal, targeted, and individual supports and resources with the aim of improving the mental health and wellness of the community we serve through the implementation of proactive and responsive school plans.
